Can I place orders on my account using my normal traditional account terms
Yes. We are happy for you to trade with us on the same terms as you would if you visited your local branch.
Normal credit limit checks are automatically applied before any orders are despatched amd we will contact you (usually by phone) if there is any problem. If your terms are Cash with order you may elect to pre-authorise the cost of the shipment using the secure credit card option.
If I choose to pay by secure credit card using the direct Payment Serviice. How are credit card payments handled?
The credit card settlement process is one of 'pre-authorisation'. we do not debit your credit in real time.
No money is transferred when you confirm the order. We simply validate your card and receive a guarantee that it will be approved for the amount and it ties the funds up for seven days.
If we still need to confirm further details of the transaction, such as freight alternative delivery instructions, or additions to the order, then we have seven days to process a pre-authorisation before the authorisation expires.
If I elect not to pick up the goods might I be overcharged for freight?
We will charge applicable frieight once the order is packaged and weighed as per your normal trading terms.
This may means that the order may be less than the $7.00 plus GST allowed for. If you have pre-authorised your credit card then we will debit your card only what we need to charge. If for any reason the freight exceeds the $7.00 plus GST allowed for, them we will make best efforts to contact you as soon as possible to confirm the amount with you before despatching the order.
What about shipping larger furniture Items?
In most cases we will need to assess the freight and confirm this with you. You may place the purchase order on your account. Please select - Place purchase order on account even if you wish to pay by credit card for a larger item.
